Job Description


The Client Success Manager will act as a consultant between Verisk and our clients and provide professional client support. You will drive collaborative and consultative support through all phases of the client engagement cycle. Key activities include helping to drive pipeline and client engagement strategy; collaborating with teams of subject matter experts and stakeholders; and developing and refining processes to gather client information on current state operations and results. You will consult on best practices which address client needs by integrating and operationalizing Verisk anti-fraud solutions and deliver high level executive presentations. You will serve as a conduit between clients and internal partners such as Product and Sales Leadership, Data Science and IT Development.

About the Day to Day Responsibilities of the Role

Responsibilities & Essential Duties:

  •  Consultative Support – acting as a business subject matter expert - through all phases of the sales cycle, gathering client information on current state operations and results.
  • Provide recommendations for future state best practices operationalizing Verisk solutions.
  • This role will refine process for analysis and investigative techniques, utilze current product sourced data to support client solution trials, proofs of concept and value analysis.
  • The candidate will collaborate and drive engagement strategy, messaging and approach to provide impactful product demonstrations for potential clients in client sales meetings, at trade shows, and for executive presentations related to solution value.
  • Develop a meticulous understanding of Verisk-ISO solutions and services.
  • This role will train enhanced techniques to further client production and return on investment utilizing our Anti-Fraud Solution Group’s current products.
  • The successful candidate will continuously monitor and evaluate existing client needs while working closely with the Product Management and Sales teams for successful client implementations and client account stewardship. 
  • This positions plays a key role in gathering suggested product enhancements from clients for feedback for the Product Owners and Developers.
  • This role will test newly developed products, requirements, functionality and features and provide meaningful analysis.
  • In collaboration with Sales, the role will be responsible for assembling key information and delivering high-level executive presentations to align solution opportunities with client organizational goals
  • Provide support in the construction of contracts and score of work agreements.
  • Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.
  • Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Regular travel required approximately 30%.

Qualifications


About You and How You Can Excel in This Role

Required Skills:

  • Leadership or comparable experience in a similar industry focused on fraud investigation.
  • Proven experience identifying suspicious elements found in insurance fraud with a strong focus on major case and organized fraud ring investigation.
  • Ability to decipher client business challenges, provide expert understanding of client needs and solution design.
  • Understand trends in the insurance industry and be able to interpret client business needs and translate them into operational requirements
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated effectiveness and strong communication skills, both written and oral. 
  • Superior public speaking and presentation skills in both sales support and training environments. Ability and experience with tailoring messages to all levels of the organization from individual contributors to executives.
  • Provide extraordinary client support with a passionate commitment to the client
  • Excellent computer skills, especially with MS Windows and Office. Excel and PowerPoint skills required.

 Encouraged Skills:

  • Business consulting experience is a plus
  • Experience with advanced analytic fraud detection implementation projects is desirable
  • Product Development experience preferred but not essential
  • Prior experience using ISO products such as ClaimSearch, NetMap for Claims, Decision Net Public Records, ClaimDirector, MedSentry and SIU Case Manager is a plus.
  • Insurance association memberships and/or certifications a plus (for example: CPCU, ARM, Certified Fraud Examiner and a Fraud Claims Law Specialist)

Minimal Education and Training Requirements:

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years’ experience in insurance industry claims, fraud analysis and investigation, with a strong focus on operationalizing analytics, claims data analysis and presentation skills.
  • Direct experience working with Special Investigation Units (SIU) or Government Fusion Centers/Departments
  • Knowledge of insurance operations, life of policy, claim analytics, key performance indicators and operational metrics critical to organizational effectiveness
  • Knowledge of insurance fraud analytic techniques.
