Ameritas Life Insurance Corp is seeking a Client Service Representative-Annuityto drive the business by processing a wide range of service functions on multiple products, companies and administrative systems for in-force policies through written correspondence, telephone conversations, and personal contact.

What you do

  • Consistently meet expectations by displaying courtesy and sensitivity. Respond thoroughly and accurately to inquiries from policyholders, field force and home office staff via telephone, correspondence and personal contact. Display a commitment to excellence to our clients, field force and home office staff by quick turn-around of the request.
  • Supports a team environment by putting the success of the team above own self-interests, being open and objective when considering other's views, offering assistance and support to co-workers, working cooperatively in group situations and continually contributing to a positive team spirit.
  • Maintain the expertise/skills required to accurately process a wide range of service requests for multiple products maintained on a variety of administrative systems for multiple distribution channels.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with all areas of the Organization by representing the team through a positive attitude and always using professional communication
  • Maintain an understanding of basic product knowledge regarding special processing requirements, limitations and trading restrictions on variable products.
  • Maintain an understanding of policy-related correspondence and statements (e.g., policies/contracts, confirmations, quarterly and annual statements, letters forms etc).
  • Actively pursues self-development activities by taking advantage of educational/learning opportunities and staying abreast of departmental, company, industry and regulatory changes.
  • Display initiative by volunteering for projects or special assignments, proactively obtaining or providing help or training when needed, confronting difficult situations and using negotiating skills to resolve conflict.
  • Demonstrate prioritization and organizational skills by appropriately managing multiple tasks within established service standards, SEC and NASD requirements and previously communicated commitments.
  • Maintain an organized and orderly work -space.
  • Promote company core values and support company standards.


What you bring

  • The incumbent must have a college degree or the equivalent client service or business related experience. Related experience preferred.
  • Must obtain a Series 99 within first 6 months of employment or employment is subject to termination.
  • Must demonstrate progress toward attainment of industry designations (FLMI, ACS) or completion.
  • Efficient keyboarding skills and ability to work on multiple administrative systems.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
