Overview
Responsible for the management and leadership of the client operation specialist (COS) team within PCG client management. The primary goal for this role is to ensure accuracy of all pre- and post- purchase client-facing loan stipulation activity (stip), and drive appropriate change within partner groups to assist in this effort. The position will provide training, mentoring and guidance to the current client operations specialists to promote success and drive personal growth and development of the team.
Job Description

  • Manage and lead the COS team, and provide daily feedback on productivity and quality measurements
  • Manage all post-purchase stip activity both, internally and externally, to completion
  • Cross-train COS group in funding and pending departments as flex resources when needed
  • Train and monitor employee performance, and produce quarterly peer-ranking
  • Load-balance one-day review responsibilities to ensure timely completion each business day
  • Review COS tasking to ensure proper escalation process is adhered to via policies and procedures, and act as escalation point to challenge recently-released stips, revised stips and invalid stips
  • Collaborate with pipeline account teams to ensure client support functions of COS group are successful
  • Work with pipeline account managers to identify early trends to address with clients
  • Identify and solve for process inefficiencies and risk exposure
  • Attend pipeline account meetings to collaborate and share feedback regarding common errors
  • Attend credit partnership meetings to participate in guideline clarification discussions
  • Attend loan review conversations meeting to discuss ineligible findings
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Ideal Candidate will have the following:

  • 5+ years management experience
  • Strong business acumen and ability to interface effectively with executive management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to function independently, and prioritize workload
  • Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, using sound judgment
  • Experience developing and implementing policy and procedure changes, and training employees successfully
  • History of developing and utilizing associate production reporting. Experience in monitoring employee production and key quality metrics.
  • Thorough understanding and expertise in investor guidelines and automated underwriting system (AUS) messaging from FNMA, Freddie Mac, FHA and VA
