CNO worksite is hiring a Client Experience Manager to provide remarkable ongoing support to our customers. The Client Experience Manager provides reports and audits, while making recommendations to clients to ensure compliance in all Signature Services. You will partner with the client experience team to gather information about the client's current benefit processes to assist in the ongoing servicing of their ERISA Benefits Administration portal.

This is your opportunity to build relationships with clients across a variety of industries. You will be able to flex your analytical muscles by working with cross-functional internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve benefits administration system issues. As a trusted client resource, you will reinforce the value of our service.

As a Client Experience Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Balancing a high volume (30 or more) of client solutions and building relationships so that each client feels they are the sole focus.
  • Interpreting employer sponsored benefit plans and ensuring that all Signature Services are compliant with client Summary Plan Documents, as well as ERISA regulations and guidelines.
  • Ensuring that Signature Services are compliant with ERISA regulations and recommend changes in plan design as needed for compliance.
  • Performing audits and analysis and providing clients with relevant and actionable information.
  • Creating effective communication to clients about customized portals and benefit plan design.
  • Acting as escalation resource, from the call center, for complex client and employee inquires.
  • Attending implementation and client calls to provide quarterly results.
  • Facilitating annual system renewals for open enrollment periods or other ad hoc projects.



The Client Experience Manager position is well-suited for you if:

  • You have a thorough understanding of employer sponsored benefits design and compliance.
  • You effectively translate complex subjects for people with a variety of backgrounds and knowledge levels.
  • You communicate change and problem resolution so that stakeholders buy-in and see the positive returns.
  • You are committed to providing a white glove customer service experience.
  • You have a high sense of urgency and can prioritize/reprioritize tasks quickly.


Qualified candidates will have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the employee benefits space
  • 1-3 years of experience in client relationship management and/or worksite benefits administration & implementation.
  • Foundational understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams)
  • Strong communication skills with a devotion to correct grammar, punctuation, and compelling content.
  • A proven track record of solving problems by partnering with cross-functional teams.



Currently, all CNO Financial Group offices are closed due to the ongoing pandemic. Upon reopening, we will be pursuing a hybrid working model. Associates who live within a 60 mile radius of a corporate office (Carmel, Chicago or Philadelphia) will have access to come into that Office up to 2 days/week, and work from home at least 3 days/week. Many of CNO's roles are full time work from home (WFH), also known as Remote. If this posting indicates location as central or eastern time zone, then the role is full time remote/WFH.
