What You'll Do
Cisco seeks a Client Executive for the Americas Service Provider team, to lead the COMCAST, CORE, EDGE AND DATA CENTER account team. This position is based in the Philadelphia, PA area and requires a strong background in executive-level communication, building customer and partner relationships, strategic account planning, and technical sales leadership.
This role involves coaching and development of a seasoned technical sales team. You will work hands-on with the team developing and promoting value propositions aligned with Cisco's Mass Infrastructure Routing, Data Center Switching, Compute and Cloud business units. The ideal candidate possesses strategic sales experience, technical knowledge, and can succeed as a leader and mentor in a demanding and rewarding sales environment. Who You Are
The role will require visionary leadership of the account teams covering COMCAST. You will be responsible for the development and execution of sales strategy and tactics that maximize Cisco's opportunity within the customer environment. Along with sales planning, this position is also responsible for accurate forecasting and direct customer contact at an executive level. Applicants must have both the sales skills and business/technical knowledge to lead customer discussions and advance the sales process to successful business outcomes for both the customer and Cisco.
The successful candidate will need to make important resource decisions that apply both corporate and account team resources to new opportunities and will be responsible for motivating and developing the Account Managers, Services leaders, and the wider Cisco professionals related to bid or execution activity.
Minimum Requirements
  • 3+ years of sales management experience or a proven track record of leading and closing large, strategic deals. A good understanding of the Service Provider market and competitive landscape.
  • Experience developing, managing and closing large IP Core, Edge and Data Center routing, switching and server deals.
  • Experience leveraging 'C' level relationships in order to be accepted as the senior Cisco representative to all CIO and COO within the named account list.
