What we’re looking for
The Client Development representative will assist in growing the M1 client base with a focus on increasing assets under management. This will be accomplished by engaging with our existing client base through proactive outbound communication and providing excellent service and support to M1 existing clients. Overall, we are looking for a compassionate individual that will go above and beyond in improving our client experience with a committed focus on the growth of the client base and assets.
What you'll do
- Proactively make a high volume of outbound sales calls to existing clients to better familiarize them with the functionality of M1 Finance’s services.
- Assist and Schedule one on one product walkthroughs with clients and Client Development Associates
- Campaign management, including prospecting and servicing existing clients.
- Assist in the planning and ideation of various ongoing client webinars and call campaigns
- Ensuring (Salesforce) CRM system is up to date and activities are accurately documented as well as assisting in the creation of salesforce cadence and workflows
- Collecting and gathering feedback to better assist other teams and stakeholders
- Liaison between teams to ensure client requests are handled
Qualifications
- Long term interest in sales or marketing
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Keen interest in marketing, sales, and the financial services industry
- Ability to take direct ownership of client needs and projects
- Strong work ethic, ability to manage competing priorities and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to prepare, study and complete necessary FINRA licensing exams (series 7, 63 or 66)
- 0-1 years of experience in sales or customer service is preferred
- This is a Chicago based role
