The Client Administration Associate II is responsible for the day-to-day administration of a wide variety of non-qualified benefit plans and related financing programs for corporate and bank clients. You will be responsible for supporting the team by producing reports, assisting with client deliverables, and fielding requests from plan participants.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and maintain strong, positive relationships with assigned clients and participants
  • Serve as the point of contact for administrative services including fielding client/participant requests, track and update master workflow calendar, and assist with administrative requests and inquiries
  • Prepare benefit plan enrollment materials and website and field participant inquiries during open enrollment periods
  • Prepare, update, and audit client deliverables based on established standards and frequencies (monthly, quarterly, annually) and within compliance guidelines, including participant benefit statements, corporate benefit accounting reports, benefit plan distributions, FICA taxable income, proxy disclosures, imputed income, compliance reviews, cash value, funding adequacy reports, and trust reconciliation
  • Monitor and prepare premium billing and service fee invoices
  • Perform life insurance policy administration and transaction processing, including cash value fund rebalancing, policy surrenders and exchanges, face amount changes, and death claims
  • Audit others work and share in quality control audit processes with team members to ensure 100% accuracy of deliverables
  • Lead client calls and meetings
  • Independently and proactively manage and complete special projects
  • Analyze client deliverables processes and department needs and suggest improvements
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, General Business or related field preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in customer service preferably in a financial, accounting, insurance, or employee setting
  • Intermediate understanding of life insurance concepts and analysis
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and familiarity with Access
  • Ability to maintain sensitivity to, and awareness of, confidentiality, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an eye for detail
  • Ability to quickly develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Hold or able to obtain, securities registrations (Series 6 and 63)

JOB CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT

  • Hybrid work environment offering a blend of virtual/work from home and onsite days designed to support flexibility
  • Normal office environment/desk assignment
  • Extensive use of PC's, computer terminal, display, keyboard, and mouse.
  • Extensive hands on work with documents, spreadsheets, and other written documents
  • Potential for Light travel, up to 5%
