Job Responsibilities: What you will do
Provide leadership and supervision of Recruiting Processors and Safety Compliance Assistances to ensure all Driver Qualification files are complete and accurate prior to submission to the Safety Compliance department.
- Direct and manage all aspects of designated Clearinghouse Processors and Safety Compliance Assistants to ensure driver files are in compliance with DOT and Swift hiring policies and procedures.
- Develop and facilitate training and guidance/direction to designated Clearinghouse Processors and Safety Compliance Assistants in addition to completing quarterly reviews for direct reports to ensure pre-established hiring goals are achieved.
- Ensure designated terminal goals are met, which includes communicating current status with Terminal Managers, Field Recruiters, and Compliance Auditors.
- Assist in the leadership of Company driver hiring criteria, which includes advising and training employees based on Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulatory (FMCSR) criteria.
- Ensure all drivers meet Department of Transportation (DOT) & Knight hiring criteria for medical exams, and drug screens.
- Provide weekly driver coding reports to leadership.
- Monitor correction files to ensure compliance of DOT guidelines
- May be required to monitor call log and emails, review and approve employee Personal Action Forms (PAF), as well as monitoring ExecuTime(time-keeping system) with respect to employee attendance and make necessary corrections to employees' time.
- May be required to hold weekly staff meetings to ensure employees are kept informed and company goals are being met.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.
- May perform additional duties as assigned by leadership; travel required as needed.
