So, what’s the role?

We are looking for a Claims Support Agent - FNOL to join our Claims team! You will support and be the first line of defense for our Claims Department. You will interact with customers by phone, email, and chat to handle all claims-related needs in an appropriate and timely manner to avoid delaying in our customers getting back to their "normal". 

When time permits, we would like your assistance in updating forms, policies, procedures, and training materials; our business is constantly growing and it is essential that we make changes in real time.

A day in the life could include:

  • Handling incoming calls and occasional outbound calls to interpret, analyze, and assist with customer inquiries 
  • Providing prompt, efficient responses and resolutions to each inquiry in a courteous, empathetic, and professional manner
  • Monitoring claim assignments, adjuster profiles, and state licensing alongside providing loss-run reports
  • Completing data entry of relevant information into client claims database or other business applications
  • Assisting in filing new loss claims reported, confirm damages, DOL, and other conditions and circumstances of the loss with the client
  • Running ISO and other reporting analysis and uploads into claim files
  • Participating in individual and team trainings and meetings to ensure accurate information is relayed to clients 
  • Adhering to assigned work schedule; available to work flexible hours (includes nights, weekends, and overtime when required)

I’ve got the skills...but do I have the necessary ones?

  • Superior customer service skills with a strong empathetic nature
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with limited structure
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Proficient in Google Suite; comfortable navigating multiple tools and systems simultaneously
  • A need for efficiency - we are always looking to make our processes better

Catastrophe Requirement:

In the event of a catastrophic event, overtime and weekend shifts will be required.
