Citrix Support Administrator is responsible for installation / configuration of Citrix systems and the related infrastructure. Tasks will be focused on implementation, maintaining high availability, performance, security, and NetScaler systems.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Configuration and troubleshooting knowledge on CITRIX XenApp environments and NetScaler
  • Participate in the design, build and support of XenApp / XenDesktop environments ensure operational and functional service across the Citrix platform
  • Support Incident management with technical capability to participate in incident through to resolution
  • Solid understanding of foundational IT components including Networking, Load Balancing, various Operating Systems, SAN / NAS storage, VMware ESX 5.5, x64 hardware
  • Light scripting experience related to managing CITRIX XenApp, XenDesktop, vCenter
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to skills collaborate with members in the team, Customers, Stakeholders
  • Experience working with VMWare vCenter as a hypervisor and managing virtual machines
  • Exposure to Clinical Information's Systems (CIS) - Touchworks Allscripts / PM / EPIC
  • Identify, issues, and drive the technical troubleshooting for enterprise Citrix XenApp architecture
  • Provide troubleshooting and solutions to problems relating to the Citrix platform
  • Function as an escalation point for Citrix related issues
  • Implement, administrate, configure, and support the Citrix infrastructure environment
  • Manage and maintain Citrix environment with Microsoft based servers, Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, NFS and related enterprise management systems
  • Manage Gold images, Patching, MS security releases and third party applications (Acrobat, Dragon, Edge, Chrome, etc
  • Support Incident management with technical capability to participate in incident through to resolution.
  • Serve as escalation point for 1st level support teams work as second line support
  • Citrix Receiver endpoint troubleshooting and management
  • Develop internal documentation and procedures related to the systems infrastructure Qualifying Skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to skills collaborate with members in the team, Customers, Stakeholders
  • Will participate in on call schedules as requested

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in Citrix and Microsoft technologies - managing and implementing enterprise systems
  • 3+ years work experience and solid understanding of foundational IT components including Networking, Load Balancing, variety of Operating Systems, Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, NFS and related enterprise management
  • 1+ years of experience and proven knowledge of Microsoft Technologies: Server 2008 /2012 / 2016

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Storage technologies exposure - NAS / RAID / SAN
  • Ideal core work hours are Mountain time zone or central time zone USA
  • Familiarity with Network technologies (DNS / DHCP / LDAP / RADIUS / Kerberos )
  • Familiar with Security standards (Encryption / Certificates / IPSec / TLS-SSL3 / Policies)

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to 120,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
