Job Description Role Description
We are looking for a VP to support our efforts to evolve engagement and our workforce strategy across Corportate & Investment Bank (CIB) Technology. The role will help our technologists understand our strategy, how their role fits in, and what they need to be doing to maximize value to the business. The role will lead engagement across our strategic pillars to upskill our workforce on modernization and product operating model adoption and drive our workforce initiatives. We want a candidate with a passion for employee engagement who understands the importance of aligning all efforts with our company purpose, culture and brand. The candidate will join our entrepreneurial team of engagement leads and designers and work closely with cross-functional technology teams and key partners.
Successful candidates should have at least 6-8 years of experience in Organizational Engagement or Change Management in a large organization. You should have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and enjoy handling complexity. In addition, possess the ability to influence and develop productive partnerships and support a diverse and inclusive workforce. Key Responsibilities

  • Help define the strategy and drive engagement across all levels of the CIB Technology organization
  • Drive and accelerate on our workforce strategy
  • Develop content in alignment with CIB and Global Technology's strategy
  • Partner closely with business partners and subject matter experts to understand, develop and syndicate key content
  • Collaborate with team of engagement leads and designers to execute on our priorities
  • Support plans for taking an idea from inception to delivery
  • Provide large internal event planning support to our senior leaders (e.g., Town Halls)


Qualifications

  • Demonstrated hands on experience creating engagement and awareness content through a variety of mediums including but not limited to email, PowerPoint, and videos - with adaptability to learn new tools.
  • Experience working in Technology and/or Financial Services preferred
  • Communications skills - Candidate must possess excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Stakeholder management skills - Candidate must demonstrate the ability to closely partner with various stakeholders on projects
  • Project management skills - candidate must be able to manage multiple priorities and workstream plans
  • Teamwork skills - Candidate must be flexible in his/her work style and be able to work with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
  • An eye for clean and artful design and presentations
  • Strong work ethic, self-starter who is creative with a 'can-do' attitude
  • Hands on experience with MS Office and other publishing tools (SharePoint and Photoshop a plus)


About the Team
The Organizational Engagement team is responsible for designing and delivering content to engage CIB Technologists and accelerate on our workforce strategy for 16,000+ employees. We are part of a cross-functional team under the Chief of Staff office that supports the CIB Chief Information Officer and senior leaders. The team is responsible for driving a consistent approach and focused delivery of key priorities for CIB Technology. Key functional areas of the Chief of Staff office include: Strategic Execution, Technology Operating Alignment and Organizational Engagement.
