ABOUT THRIVE MARKET
Thrive Market was founded in 2014 with a mission to make healthy living easy and affordable for everyone. As an online, membership-based market, we deliver the highest quality healthy and sustainable products at member-only prices, while matching every paid membership with a free one for someone in need. Every day, we leverage innovative technology and member-first thinking to help our over 1,000,000+ members find better products, support better brands, and build a better world in the process. We recently reached a significant milestone by becoming a Certified B Corporation, making us the largest grocer to earn this coveted qualification.
THE ROLE
As Chief of Staff, your mandate is to provide strategic leverage to the CEO and extend the influence of the Office of the CEO across the business. You are deep in the weeds so he doesn’t have to be. You move through the business with all aspects of his vision in mind, understanding where to support ongoing projects, where to flag risks, and how to spot new opportunities. Success means the CEO is able to spend as much time possible on the projects only he can do. Analytical rigor, high horsepower, passion for member experience, and a willingness to take on anything thrown your way are all a must.
The opportunity of a lifetime – mentorship from a leading ecommerce entrepreneur and CEO, exposure to inner workings of the retail / food / technology industries, ownership of business results, and a community of ambitious mission-driven colleagues. You will work directly with Thrive Market CEO & Co-founder, Nick Green, across all aspects of Thrive Market’s business. There is no limit to your responsibilities or to the outlets for your curiosity. The role is a combination of Chief of Staff, Special Ops, Business Development, entrepreneur, and analyst.
