Divisional Overview: Client Platforms division of Wealth Management Technology is responsible for core Retail Client Facing capabilities, serving a number of client segments including Self Directed and Advised.

Practice Area Group: Client Platforms is responsible for our retail digital assets including Morgan Stanley Online, Morgan Stanley Mobile and E*TRADE Online and E*TRADE Mobile platforms. These platforms offer retail clients the ability to manage their investment and banking portfolios, online trading, planning and collaboration.

Role Description Application Area: The position is for a Chief of Staff in Client Platforms Technology. This role sits at the heart of the practice area?s strategy, operations and communications. We are looking for a self-starter who will work closely with the co-heads of the Practice Area Group and partner across cross-functional stakeholders to put the strategies and processes in place to meet the evolving business needs of the department. This person will be critical for optimizing employee engagement, responsible for increasing the efficiency, marketing, presence, and image of the team, as well as driving and improving on key business & operational processes.

The Candidate will play a key role in the following:
• Management of the overall communications to the PAG including ownership of the Client Platforms jive site
• Drive communication between Co-Heads of Client Platforms Technology and the leadership team (ownership of agenda for weekly Directs meeting)
• Partnership with our Digital Direct and Banking Product Managers (and Client Platforms Leadership Team) on Financials, Organizational changes, Workforce Strategy, Recruitment, TAP and Summer Intern demand, Diversity and Inclusion
• Production of Quarterly Business Review with WMT Division head and entire PAG reporting status on goals related to: Stability, Hygiene, Risk, Business Enablement and People
• Ownership and Coordination of bi-weekly Client Platforms Employee All Hands Meetings and Global Leadership Meeting
• Partnership with WMT Management on division-wide initiative
• Partnership with HR (and Client Platforms leadership team) on Annual Promotion, Talent Rank Review and Compensation manager mapping processe
• Ownership of PAG Risk including weekly tracking of overdue Technology Accountability Program metrics and Open Action Plans coming due
• Ownership of Client Platforms People Engagement Program in the U.S. - including coordination of Global Volunteer Month event
• Coordination of Annual PAG Goals Cascade
• Management of ongoing approvals for T&E, Green Card Sponsorship, etc.
• Employee Rewards & Recognition
• Ad hoc advice, guidance and mentorship for entire organization

Primary Skills / Must have
• Has the ability to work on the day to day and also be in a position to set strategy and work and influence the organization
• Self-Starter and able to work with minimum supervision
• Project Management and organization skill

Skills Desired
• Wealth management and/or banking / financial services experience
• Microsoft Office
• Communications or marketing experience is a plu
