The Opportunity

This position serves as key partner to the CHRO in maximizing efficiency and streamline information flow across the HR function and/or other key stakeholders. In this position, the incumbent will act as "master synthesizer" of all ideas and strategy across the HR leadership team. To be successful in this role the incumbent should have strong skills in influencing others, prioritization, connecting strategy to business priorities and commanding exceptional execution of work product from multiple stakeholders.

The Work Itself

Partner with HR leadership team on senior management routines to ensure teams are operating in a highly efficient and effective manner. Continue to evolve and enhance existing routines and governance. Proactively streamline on an ongoing basis.

  • This role includes active partnership with HR Business Line Risk Executive and Business Line Risk and respective team to effectively manage risk and evolve/enhance existing framework.
  • Leads the coordination of bi-weekly HR agenda, quarterly HR Business Reviews, including content focus and follow-up
  • Key meeting preparation and follow-up - Organizational Health Review for key forums and stakeholders, Business Reviews, Financial Reviews, BU townhalls
  • High level strategy coordination of all HR planning activities
  • Strategic oversight of budget and forecast in partnership with FP&A partners and HR PMO office
  • In partnership with PMO, establishes & maintains HR annual calendar of deliverables to ensure alignment within the HR function and coordination with other key areas
  • In partnership with Internal Comms, manages all org level communications and ensures transparency in human capital activity across org
  • Leads HR annual events and supports EC meeting as requested


Reliable, conscientious, and strategic extension of CHRO and leadership team.

  • Provides leadership and project management to emerging human capital matters as identified by the CHRO
  • Research, benchmark and analyzes data and makes recommendation based upon topics identified by the CHRO
  • Proactively identify linkages and synergies across organization
  • Manage HR Engagement team and drive functional leadership support of all efforts
  • Provides oversight and execution of the annual HR employee development and training plan; including monitoring rotational assignments


Serves as lead of HR Operating Model and Org Design by:

  • Integrating insight from VOC & benchmarking to prioritize HR opportunities and capabilities
  • Facilitates discussion to refine the vision of HR and define future HR operating model.



The Skills You Bring

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 10+ years experience, preferably in financial services industry
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Possess broad knowledge of HR ecosystem
  • SHRM or HRCI certification obtained if the person does not have prior HR experience
  • Ability to thoughtfully navigate complex change in a matrix environment
  • Ability to effectively influence people at all levels of the organization, with/without direct reporting relationship
  • Ability to convey complex subject matters into simple digestible information to help educate key stakeholders
  • Appropriately leverages data to help inform decision making
  • Strong leadership ability and learning agility
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills (formal and informal)
  • Assertive, detail oriented, proactive, comfortable operating in grey areas / undefined spaces
