Chase is striving to be the Bank for All to drive accelerated, inclusive growth. We are in search of a bold, customer-obsessed, dynamic and omni-channel marketer who can develop, oversee and execute modern campaigns and transformative initiatives to engage and acquire households that are looking to finance a home and beyond. The successful candidate will join both the Chase Home Lending and JPMC Marketing leadership teams as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Home Lending. You will report directly to the CEO of Home Lending and have accountability to the CMO of JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams to develop compelling content across relevant topics, and promote it through multiple digital, "on us" and offline channels
  • Assess and evaluate marketing activities through analysis and presentations to the business
  • Build and sustain a profitable business in a highly competitive environment by using marketing strategies and product development that differentiate us
  • Lead and participate in Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) and cross line of business (LOB) strategic initiatives, including firmwide efforts that engage the J.P. Morgan LOBs
  • Be maniacally focused on driving a "One Chase" marketing strategy that is breaking down silos and creating a cohesive brand purpose
  • Establish and manage annual marketing budgets
  • Direct, coach and develop a large team of employees in multiple locations
  • Engage in frequent and consistent communication with executive-level business leaders, including providing updates to CEOs, CMOs and CFOs of other LOBs
  • Navigate a highly matrixed organization masterfully, building strong alliances and working with leaders across multiple functions to remove barriers for the team and empower high performance
  • Serve as a culture carrier and thoughtful leader to attract, develop and retain top talent

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in brand, prospect and consumer marketing
  • Flexibility to work effectively with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels
  • Proven executive-level communication skills and presence
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand the Home Lending business model, products, and customers
  • Self-driven and capable of taking initiative and working with minimal direction
  • Strategic thinker who understands and supports the goals and direction of the firm
  • Demonstrated understanding of the business and market dynamics including financial performance, key objectives, challenges and competitive landscape
  • Strong interpersonal and partnership skills
  • Prior experience managing or influencing large, multi-discipline groups remotely and in multiple locations
  • Ability to implement change and be proactive in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm under pressure
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across a highly matrixed organization
  • Proven ability to promote a strong control environment by adhering to risk and controls expectations, procedures and processes
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution


Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • 15+ years post-graduate work experience
  • Experience in the financial services industry
