About the teams
Our Chargeback Associate is a vital resource to FIS FI Debit Disputes. Specialists' primary goal is to support Financial Institutions thru processing dispute cases and telephone support. As the first point of contact for our Financial Institutions, it is a critical role in setting the tone of a customer's experience with FIS support. We work in an ever-changing environment, constantly adapting to the changing fraud and disputes environment. What you will be doing
Supports the telephone line, with a focus on disputes processing, and written inquiries related to chargebacks, ensuring customers receive the highest quality of service and support. Performs functions such as chargebacks, retrievals, presentments, pre-arbitration, arbitration, as well as merchant processing, email inquiries, and researching results to recommend appropriate actions and solutions.

  • You will provide Financial Institutions with solutions and offer advice on how to respond to fraud and non-fraud disputesto avoid similar disputes in the future
  • You will build a positive work relationship with FIS FI Debit disputes to enhance the image of FIS
  • You will follow documentation and communication guidelines when addressing FIS Merchant Clients
  • You will ensure all inbound call requests are properly documented in the FIS system of record


What you bring

  • You will provide high level, quality support to our FIS FI Debit dispute by being able to learn and communicate with confidence the dispute flow for debit Card Networks
  • You will execute with quality in a high-volume work environment, utilizing a wide variety of digital tools and applications
  • You should possess strict attention to detail and provide clear step by step directions to FIS FI debit client on their disputes and fraud in the chargeback process, while keeping quality standards at the forefront
  • You will demonstrate a high level of computer skills and efficiency, while working disputes.
  • You need to be organized, while juggling multiple tasks at once, and being attentive to the FIS FI Credit Client customer needs
  • You will require the ability to communicate effectively. Effective communication involves speaking and listening to the merchant, reviewing the information and providing a solution quickly and effectively. You will need to do this thru a variety of channels and tools, such as phone, application and video conferencing


Added bonus if you have

  • Call Center experience
  • Banking or financial industry experience
  • Experience working with a high-volume call center or high volume process with high profile clients.
