Position Summary:
The Channel Events Specialist coordinates the logistics of Channel Events & Channel Programs. They establish and cultivate strong relationships with partners and internal cross-functional teams, while also delivering outstanding event results, within budget guidelines.
**This role is on-site based out of Greenwood Village, CO at Pax8 Headquarters**
Essential Responsibilities:
- Represents the company at trade shows displaying professionalism, resourcefulness & expertise of Pax8 products and services
- Communicates and presents ideas to sizable audiences during sales calls, meetings, or public speaking engagements in a clear, persuasive, and engaging manner
- Manages and builds relationships with various partners in the Channel ecosystem, including Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Value-Added Resellers (VARs), vendors, and partner association groups while successfully cultivating relationships driving growth and value
- Assists in event organization and coordination, including logistics, inventory management, and maintaining positive relationships with event partners
- Coordinates events by managing communication with key stakeholders, ensuring timelines are met, and troubleshooting issues
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- At least three (3) years of directly relevant experience; event marketing, event production, or retail programming experience
- At least two (2) years of experience in marketing or sales Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Sales Force
- Knowledge of Wrike preferred
- Self-motivated, strategic, creative worker with a drive for executional excellence
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and multitask
- Creative thinker and problem solver – always looking beyond the available options when up against roadblocks
- Experience learning and navigating within a high-growth and fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a cross-functional organization
- Ability to apply knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization’s goals
- Ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
- Ability to make good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward
- Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
- Ability to adapt approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations
- Ability to be self-motivated and independent
Required Education & Certifications:
- B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $60,000 or more depending on experience
*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
