Job Description The CCB Data & Analytics team responsibly leverages data across Chase to build competitive advantages for the businesses while providing value and protection for customers. The team encompasses a variety of disciplines from data governance and strategy to reporting, data science and machine learning. We have a strong partnership with Technology, which provides cutting edge data and analytics infrastructure. The team powers Chase with insights to create the best customer and business outcomes.
In this role you will be responsible for providing business management support, managing staff functions, ensuring compliance with governance policies and procedures, and maintaining a strong controls environment, reporting to the Head of Business Modeling Strategy and Lifecycle Management. A balance of leadership, influence and matrixed management skills across functions and senior leaders within and outside of Business Modeling are important success factors for this role.
The successful candidate will also excel at presentation, communication and problem solving and must execute the following objectives:
Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage the book of work for an Line of Business (LOB )or Center of Excellence (COE) modeling team including aligning project and program timelines, working with cross functional teams to support model development and implementation, escalating, and resolving issues, and providing executive level communication
  • Manage executive summary reporting including business reviews, weekly updates, regulatory, and ad-hoc requests for senior management
  • Accurately manage headcount, expense budget and efficiency targets (KRI's)
  • Ensure compliance with model related policies, procedures, and tools
  • Provide support for model review process and ongoing model performance testing
  • Develop executive management presentations for meetings, town halls and road shows
  • Partner with other support functions to ensure completion of all requirements on behalf of the team (e.g., Learning & Development, HR, Finance, etc.)
  • Create and maintain controls across CCB Business Modeling including providing support for audits and regulatory reviews
  • Build and maintain relationships with peers inside and outside the organization and to ensure strong collaboration across teams


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; experience in analytics, finance, and regulatory a plus
  • Knowledge of Financial or Consumer Banking products and services
  • Basic understanding of analytics and modeling function
  • Strong end-to-end project management skills from business case development through implementation.
  • Demonstrated excellent analytical, problem resolution and decision-making skills
  • Flexibility to work under continual deadline pressure required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Adaptability to deal with ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Ability to deal with conflict and multiple constituencies and manage multiple simultaneous objectives is imperative
  • Prior experience driving alignment across multiple business units/leads toward a common goal is preferred
