We are looking for a Cash Management Operations and Escrow Specialist to join our team. This role will effectively manage the escrow process which includes Flood Insurance, Property Tax and Homeowners Insurance for the Associations. Responsible for the Fraud Force process for all financial fraud activity. Process outgoing transactions initiated by Cash Management.

Key Responsibilities

Escrow

  • Manage and complete daily escrow workflow functions for Consumer Lending accounts.
  • Maintaining escrow accounts, including entering escrow account information, verify parcel number(s) and legal description(s), create workflow reminders, and prepare and mail Homeowners Insurance (HOI)/Flood agent notification letter, if applicable.
  • Monitor and process escrow payments and analysis within the Escrow Workflow Channels.
  • Process escrow disbursements for real estate taxes, homeowner insurance and flood insurance.
  • Monitor the Retail Office Outstanding Check Report monthly. Research and resolve all unclaimed escrow refunds.
  • Provide timely and accurate preparation of all types of escrow analyses (short, annual and finals) and provide changes to Loan Accounting.
  • Mail completed analysis to customer and issue escrow account refund check, if applicable.
  • Review and process payment of HOI and Flood statements received through the mail or the daily workflow channel.
  • Obtain updated tax data through electronic channels and/or direct contact with county treasurer offices.
  • Serve as the key resource/subject matter expert within the Associations, relative to policies/procedures, processes and workflows related to escrow process.
  • Serve as the point of contact for all internal and customer direct inquiries. Review escrow accounts and quote escrow account payoffs, when requested. Ensure a favorable customer experience through effective communication and coordination with regional team members.

Fraud Force

  • Coordinate the fraud response process on all financial fraud transactions.
  • Maintain the fraud log and data for reporting provided to Association Leaders, FCSA/Frontier Board, Farm Credit Association (FCA), etc. Collaborate with other Association teams including Legal, Standards of Conduct, and Risk.
  • Act as liaison between customers, Association teams, law enforcement, vendors, etc. on fraudulent transactions and disputes.
  • Monitor fraud detection software and act on suspect items by collaborating with Cash Management Teammates to address online activity flagged and confirmed as fraud or unauthorized activity to determine handling/disposition.
  • Implement and maintain various cash management reports and reporting functions including documentation of fraudulent activity and recovery status.
  • Collaborate with Cash Management Sales Officer, Marketing, and Business Training Solutions to provide proactive fraud prevention training and education to teammates and customers.
  • Maintain and assist in the development of systems, reporting, etc. to efficiently handle fraudulent activity. Monitor the needs of offices and Associations' leadership regarding the fraud response activity processes and assist with enhancements.

AgriBuy

  • Effectively manage the AgriBuy Card Program (monitoring, reporting, and research, including monthly reports, annual rewards, temporary increases, plastic inventory, and annual rewards).

Cash Activity

  • Monitor Association cash receipts and coordinate with the receiving office to ensure proper reporting to the IRS via Form 8300.
  • Ensure accurate reporting for all cash activity.

Outgoing Transactions

  • Process batch and same-day ACH transactions and initiate batch wires

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance is preferred
  • 2+ years' relevant experience is required
