As a member of the newly crafted Customer Advocacy, Retention, and Escalation Support Specialist (CARES) team, the role of a specialist responds, prioritizes, and reacts to escalations and sees them through to favorable customer resolution. Each specialist is responsible for handling their caseload from first notice to closure, communicating with stakeholder groups and clients at each landmark, and rallying vital Amplify work groups as needed to meet expectations.
CARE Specialists will have daily interactions with programs like Salesforce, Google Docs, and various Amplify team members across the company to meet customer and business needs. CARE Specialists represent the very best of the professionals at Amplify and are dedicated to empathizing with school-based needs.
Positions are remote-based and will report directly to the CARES team manager. Some travel to onsite events or customer locations will be required throughout the year. Travel is expected to be less than 25% annually.

Responsibilities:

  • Action advanced customer concerns to appropriate workgroups and see them through resolution
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborate and connect with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Sales while rallying them to action for the health of the customer relationship
  • Establish relationships across Amplify and build effective collaborations to resolve complex situations
  • Champion customer issues within the organization to build the best customer experience
  • Provide clear and concise communication that propel
  • Articulate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences and explain impact in business terms
  • Turn quantifiable data points into resolution for partners including sales, customer care, and customer success


Required Skills & Education:

  • 1-3 years experience in Education or Technology related fields
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, or related field; or job related experience
  • Experience managing projects requiring social skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in analytics and creative problem solving
  • Partnership and communication skills
  • Comfortable working with digital work tools like Google Apps, email, spreadsheets, laptop, video conferencing, general office software, CRM, and other diagnostic and k12 learning programs as needed

  • Strong project management skills
