Job Description
Class Start Date: October or November 2021
Shift Requirements: 12:30 PM - 8:00 PM EST with assigned weekends *SHIFT LISTED IN EASTERN STANDARD
Starting Wage: Minimum starting pay $16.00 with shift differential
- Once you join the team, you will receive an office setup stipend of $250 in your first 30 days and enjoy monthly internet reimbursement of $60

What You’ll Do
Contact customers (and third parties) who have fallen past due in making payments.
Navigate a computerized system for responding to and/or troubleshooting customer questions.
Determine optimum methods of locating skipped customers.
Refer complex cases (difficult and/or large balance accounts) to experienced negotiators or management, as appropriate.
Assist with training new hires.
How You’ll Do It
Adhere to Fair Debt Collection and Practices law and the company’s Collection Practices policy.
Review credit history regarding delinquent accounts.
Contact customers to request payment of delinquent accounts.
Arrange payment programs, ensuring terms are acceptable to the company and the customer.
Employ all means to locate skipped customers (for example, research city and reverse directories and phone books, and contact utility companies, law enforcement agencies, government agencies, etc., to locate skipped customers).
Refer difficult and large balance accounts to management and follow up on management decision on handling these accounts.
Help new hires learn basic collection and customer service techniques and how to use the computerized system.
