Job Summary

The Inforce Illustrations Director is a member of the VPMS & Illustrations team within the ILFS Product Development department. The position is responsible for inforce illustration implementations including new product development as well as upgrading, maintaining, and enhancing systems and features for all existing products for which life insurance inforce illustrations are required. The role will partner with many internal and external stakeholders to achieve superior results for policyholders to understand the value in their policies.

Job Requirements

  • Lead and manage all inforce illustration implementations including coordination of internal resources and external vendor partners to support and meet business requirements
  • Provide thought leadership for roadmaps and resource planning to achieve team goals
  • Represent the team across multiple projects and ensure the work is being completed on time and with quality results
  • Track all production issues, enhancement requests and new product initiatives that require inforce illustration work and prioritize implementations
  • Drive continuous process improvement in development, testing, and vendor support to provide better and more efficient results
  • Engage cross-functionally with Business and IT stakeholders in development and delivery of inforce illustration strategy
  • Subject matter expert for strategizing and assessing technical feasibility of proposed solutions based on current technology constraints



Required Education and/or Certifications

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Finance, or equivalent degree/experience
  • FLMI designation



Recommended Education and/or Certifications

  • Degree with recommended college major: Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Mathematics



Required Work Experience

  • 10+ of system integration experience and/or insurance product implementations
  • Ability to cultivate strong working relationships with both internal and external contacts
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background



Salary Band: 07B

This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN.The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, WI, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
