Overview

This position is responsible for providing technical and operational business system support. Performs needs assessments to determine business requirements, and implements functional specifications to assigned systems. Ensures that developed solutions support Bank objectives through reporting and analysis activities. May involve elements of system testing or development. May occasionally guide less experienced analysts in the work group.

(Position can be remote within U.S.)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development, maintenance and integration of applications and systems that support business and IT operations
  • Uses various methods in the research, design, development, and execution of internal or vendor applications
  • Documents new applications and changes to existing applications along with understanding and writing requirements for applications
  • Analyzes, modifies, tests, supports, and maintains software in an assigned set of environments
  • Works independently and with the team to install and maintain applications and the systems they rely on, stream-line processes and resolve problems
  • Analyzes and resolves application and/or infrastructure technical problems and coordinates resolution activities at a team level and/or within business areas for supported applications
  • Responsible for understanding the Bank business, business objectives and current business challenges within the supported area
  • Troubleshoots application issues and working with team to resolve and make changes in a timely manner
  • Works directly with vendor and internal resources on vendor applications to support business areas. Conducts data collection, maintenance, and analysis activities to facilitate the development or alternative solutions for internal business partners from various banking applications or databases
  • Complies with all Bank Information security policies and standards
  • Ensures appropriate security and privacy measures are implemented on technology solutions to protect Company data from intentional or accidental misuse
  • Pursues Operational Excellence in all endeavors, striving n a routine basis through identification and implementation of continue process improvements
  • Complies with all related Federal, State and Industry laws and regulations pertaining to Banking


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support
  • OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support


Additional Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proven success in working on projects and working with the business teams
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changes in assignments
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technology and business requirements
  • Experience with different technologies related to banking and application/system support (strongly preferred)
