Summary

The Business Systems Administrator is responsible for designing, planning and implementing high level as well as departmental projects with little or no supervision. Such projects include, but are not limited to hosted, cloud, or SaaS business applications for Financials, CRM, HR, or Business Intelligence. Additionally, this position will be responsible to research, evaluate and recommend software, or cloud technologies that will support business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Selection, installation, configuration, and integration of software within the Salesforce.com ecosystem in support of IT and business requirements and as directed by technical leadership.
  • Documenting and/or automating administration procedures and coordinating with other Systems Administrators.
  • Identifying and implementing industry best practices for systems administration of Salesforce CRM and Financial Applications
  • Executing Salesforce.com and Financial application projects approved within Asurint's Change Approval Board by supporting in the design configuration, testing, and migration from sandbox to production environment.
  • Providing responsive and courteous support to resolve all technical issues.
  • Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting all server and software issues.
  • Assisting in the implementation of new technologies.
  • Triage and estimate new requests to facilitate prioritization process
  • Creating and maintaining documentation around all technologies and technology policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Requirements

  • Experience with in-depth systems administrations of Salesforce CRM and other cloud hosted finance applications.
  • Experience with designing/installing new systems or adding significant new functionality to existing systems.
  • Experience with user and user access administration.
  • Experience with local, virtual, and web-based system access methods.
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 experience. Apple (macOS and iOS) MDM experience a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field preferred.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator
  • Years of relevant experience: 3 to 5 years is preferred.
  • Years of experience supervising: None.


Working Conditions

  • The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions typical of offices, which includes the need for general safe workplace practices with office equipment and computers, avoidance of trips and falls, and observance of fire regulations.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
  • This position is performed in an office setting although off-site meetings in various settings occur.
  • The schedule is generally normal business hours although there is a requirement to perform work, attend meetings and events before or after normal workings hours, and occasionally on weekends and evenings.
  • Because of the nature of this work, employees may be expected to work more than 40 hours per week and may be expected to be on-call for emergency situations with the IT systems.
  • Lift moderately heavy objects [up to 20 pounds] such as computer equipment, servers, printers, and transport them.
