Summary of Major Responsibilities

The Business Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing, organizing, and tracking key revenue generating projects for new ways to distribute Cologuard. This position will coordinate with multiple functions across the organization, such as commercial, lab, field leadership, health equity, finance, and revenue cycle to plan and execute key projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support execution and commercial integration of strategic and growth opportunities that drive revenue and profitability.
  • Develop processes to establish or optimize internal operations needed to support team leaders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key commercial stakeholders.
  • Drive and track project plans with clear goals, operating mechanisms, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage project risks; escalate for resolution, as needed.
  • Monitor and analyze impact of strategic initiatives on functional areas; measure potential risk and propose appropriate tradeoffs.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and executive leadership for launched initiatives.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects without constant supervision, solicit input when needed, and check for alignment with management and cross-functional peers/superiors.
  • Ability to execute tactically, have a sense of urgency, and get things done.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.

  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

  • Ability to work on a computer and phone simultaneously.
  • Ability to use a telephone through a headset.
  • Ability and means to travel between local Madison locations.
  • Ability to travel 10% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing/Communications, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or field as outlined in the essential duties.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, marketing, commercial/business management or operations, project management, or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with senior management to drive initiatives and alignment.
  • Basic computer skills to include internet navigation and email usage.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Healthcare industry experience.
