ABOUT THE ROLE


We're looking for someone who is passionate about utilizing their operations experience to drive efficiencies and solve meaningful business problems in the field of real estate. You're an outstanding communicator and steadfast in your desire to deliver quality results. You're capable, independent, self-motivated, and operate effectively in a self-starting environment as well as on a team. You're interested in helping to scale a fast-growing startup while building the breadth of your proficiencies alongside the company's growth.


The primary focus of this role will be centered around improving workflow processes and completion of medium to large scale initiatives for Broker Operations. Some projects may take longer than one quarter to effectively solve and execute. You thrive in an environment with some ambiguity and take it as a challenge to forge new paths both collaboratively and independently.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Take lead on a wide range of cross-functional projects with minimal guidance including:
  • Refinement of Operations Performance Metrics (report creation and maintenance)
  • Representing the SPA (single point of accountability) for Broker Ops product requests. You will gather requirements from Broker Ops teammates and work hand-in-hand with Product
  • Running point on specific audits that are designed to identify process gaps that may exist.
  • Assisting in the development and roll-out of new workflows across different Broker Ops teams
  • Plan projects by following the established project management methodology. This includes identifying stakeholders, defining project scope, crafting project plans, resolving timelines, and assigning specific tasks.
  • Design and implement processes that are simple to follow, compliant, and fulfill all business requirements
  • Work with Director of Business Operations to gain stakeholder alignment on proposed workflows
  • Keep stakeholders engaged and advised by providing regular project progress updates and soliciting key stakeholders’ feedback when appropriate.
  • Document new and amended workflows. Standardize documentation and distribution methods while building a process and standard for your team.
  • Make data driven decisions and recommendations by analyzing data and reporting on metrics.
  • Take on additional projects as needed.

WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU A STRONG FIT FOR THE ROLE:

  • B.A. or B.S.
  • 3-5 years of experience in operations; start-up experience a plus
  • Ability to own an initiative from start to finish; able to work autonomously
  • Previous experience rolling out new processes to streamline operations, implementing them, and following up with retrospectives
  • Polished visual, written, and oral presentation skills
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and document new or existing workflows
  • Self-starter attitude and ability to exercise judgment and solve difficult problems without direct supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills and glass-half-full mentality
  • Ownership of initiatives - strong desire to solve challenges and navigate roadblocks
