The Business Operations Manager will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements across operations in order to improve the gross margins of the department. They will be a generalist that works across many areas of operations and will report to the Director of Business Operations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Work with Operational leaders to identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve gross margins, spanning all of operations
- Develop a framework for prioritizing process improvements based on projected impact to gross margins
- Conduct operational due diligence, make recommendations as to the best approach for implementing new processes, and work cross-functionally to implement enhancements
- Autonomously measure the impact of initiatives (based on operational and outcome metrics) to determine if we are progressing towards gross-margin targets
- Consistently escalate progress, risks, and blockers to operations leadership
- Partner with Product Management to integrate relevant product needs onto the technology roadmap
- Bring visibility to critical business metrics we need to develop and partner with Data Science to continuously improve visibility into the health of the function
- Other cross-functional projects as assigned
What we expect from you:
- You have a deep experience in operations, healthcare and strategy with a proven ability to think holistically while being deeply analytical and detail-oriented
- Experience calculating gross margins and measuring the impact of operational initiatives
- You have 4+ years of cross-functional experience in a high-growth startup and/or healthcare systems
- You embody a member > team > individual perspective
