The Compute Chipset Product Management team is part of QCT's Product Management organization. The team manages the Windows on Snapdragon portfolio; the portfolio includes all Snapdragon products used for laptops, notebooks, all-in-one compute devices. The team's objective is to synthesize and prioritize technical requirements, establish an overall compute product and technology portfolio strategy and roadmap to enable QCT to maintain overall technology, product, and business leadership. Development of the compute products and technology portfolio considers technology evolution, standardization initiatives and partnerships, evolution in device related engineering and testing processes as well as market/product requirements, opportunities, and competitive landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working independently / under some supervision.
  • Using verbal and written communication skills to convey information that may be complex to others who may have limited knowledge of the subject in question.

  • Making decisions that are low to moderate in impact; errors may have minor monetary impact or effect on projects, operations, or customer relationships; errors may require involvement beyond immediate work group to correct.
  • Must have the ability to review large amounts of data and understand multiple processes to aggregate into a streamlined process with well-defined roles and responsibilities.
  • Must be able to establish data governance and analysis protocol.
  • Must be able to clearly and concisely articulate complex material / large amount of data to people of varying disciplines / departments.
  • Must be able to clearly identify patterns, risks and constraints and take action to mitigate.
  • Completing tasks with multiple steps that can be performed in various orders; some planning and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively; mistakes may result in some rework.
  • Exercising creativity to draft original documents, imagery, or work products within established guidelines.
  • Using deductive and inductive problem solving; multiple approaches may be taken/necessary to solve the problem; often information is missing or incomplete; intermediate data analysis/interpretation skills may be required
  • Develop profound insights into the mobile / telecom industry and review market analysis for business and operation decisions

Required Competencies
  • Analytical Skills - The ability to collect information and identify fundamental patterns/trends in data. This includes the ability to gather, integrate, and interpret information from several sources.

This includes the ability to produce breakthrough ideas, being a visionary, managing innovation, absorbing large data sets, having broad interests and knowledge, and translate innovative ideas into solutions. This also includes the ability to plan and implement unconventional ideas and speculate about alternative futures using large data sets and data analytics.
  • Decision Making - The ability to make quick, accurate decisions. This includes the ability to weigh alternatives and consider the impact of the decisions on people, equipment, or other resources.
  • Getting Work Done - The ability to be organized, understand large sets of data, resourceful, and planful.

Minimum Qualifications:• Degree in a Business related field and/or Operations Management• MBA with technical background highly preferred• 8+ years' experience in the following areas required: Business Operations/Sales/Data Analytics• Presentation skills to executive teams (effective written and verbal communication skills)

Preferred Qualifications
  • 6+ years' experience working in a large matrixed organization
  • 5+ years Consulting management experience or related work experience.
  • 5+ years working with operating budgets, resources, and/or project financials
  • 5+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
  • 5+ years' experience with Program Management/Business Management tools such as tableau dashboards, excel, PowerPoint, Gantt charts, etc.
  • 5+ years' experience using data and analytics to solve problems
  • Prior experience in Demand Management/Forecasting
  • Experience in Strategy Consulting at top management consulting firm
  • Team leadership, Collaborative, Teamwork mindset
  • Proven organizational and planning skills
