Our Home Ops Team works relentlessly to ensure that our customers’ homes meet investment-grade criteria, both for the company and for our future homeowners. We commit to make the Home Inspection an exciting and successful experience for the customer and agent. We’re doing it at scale, growing every month and constantly developing methods and technology to improve our processes.


In your role, you’ll drive our day-to-day inspection workflow forward and look for ways to make it faster and better. You’ll communicate directly with customers, agents, and your colleagues to achieve detailed precision and handoffs between teams. Best of all, you’ll offer measurable impact to the most critical parts of the homebuying process - moving our customers closer to their goal of homeownership.

As part of the Team you will:

  • Work in lockstep with our Divvy Inspectors, National Operations Team, customers and agents through the home inspection process. 
  • Negotiate repairs and final home value based upon condition.
  • React to bottlenecks and inefficiencies that impact the customer and agent experience.
  • Own these responsibilities for multiple markets.
  • Develop rapid fluency with our existing systems and processes.
  • Probe inspection, customer and home cost patterns. Identify individual and systemic issues that affect the home inspection and closing. Make suggestions for improvement!
  • Leverage analytics to improve and automate these systems and processes as we grow at a tremendous rate. Exceed the status quo and deliver exceptional communication, collaboration and service to customers, colleagues and stakeholders of all levels.
  • Roll with the punches, alongside your teammates, to continue building bigger and better. 
  • Support weekend coverage (Saturdays)
  • Learn a ton and have fun doing it.

We think you’ll be great for this role if:

  • You have 2+ years of professional experience with customer-facing and / or project management responsibilities.
  • You have worked in or around residential real estate or construction through a prior job or internship, e.g. Sales brokerage, general contracting, property or asset management, leasing, development, etc.
  • You have used your analytical, quantitative, detail, communicative and organizational skills...simultaneously.
  • You have experience balancing execution of short-term responsibilities while building improved processes and policies.
  • You have exceptional customer relations skills and a polished writing style.
  • You have familiarity with CRM Platforms (e.g. Hubspot) 
  • Nice to have: high-growth startup exposure, SQL experience (helpful, but not required!)
