JOB OVERVIEW

The Business Continuity Manager will support organizational planning to address disasters and interruptions of business functions. They will assist with the development of plans for continuity of essential functions and resumption of complete business operations. The candidate will help monitor business and operation changes to ensure plans remain current and valid . They will help coordinate annual operational exercises and tabletop exercises to validate plans. The business continuity department interacts with all the different teams at Prometric and must have a general understanding of all the operations to properly execute resiliency plans. It is a cross-functional work environment which provides exposure to multiple aspects of the company .

Position is remote, within driving distance of Baltimore, MD

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Preferably in business or computer science

EXPERIENCE

• Prior Business Continuity Experience a plus
• General understanding of all the operations to properly execute resiliency plans

SKILLS

• Contract law and interpretation
• Analysis and reporting skills
• Communication, both written and verbal, to various levels within the organization
• Ability to influence without having direct or indirect organizational control
• Excellent PC skills and experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint,
• Attention to detail
