Boomi is looking for someone to drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution of a comprehensive customer engagement and expansion sales strategy. In this role, you'll be working with the head of customer experience to understand customer preferences and you will design cross-functional processes to enable a seamless engagement experience and corresponding materials (such as playbooks) to support expansion sales. This role sits within our CX organization and will require extensive collaboration with cross-functional leadership, top-notch communication skills, and a strategic mindset.

You will:

  • Drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution of a comprehensive customer engagement and expansion sales strategy
  • Build and optimize models to assess white space, propensity to buy, and other key expansion indicators
  • Develop clear understanding of customer preferences for engagement and identify new opportunities to connect with customers; overlay customer preferences with sales efforts to develop a targeted expansion strategy
  • Develop key metrics and capture and analyze data to continuously improve the impact of customer engagement and expansion sales efforts
  • Work with cross-functional leadership to define and optimize communications and processes for customer engagement and ensure alignment with existing go-to-market strategies
  • Contribute to codification and sharing of best practices in customer engagement across the organization
  • Drive other strategic efforts as needed based on customer insights data


Desired skills & experience:

  • Work experience in management consulting, CX, customer success, product marketing, or related areas of focus
  • Track record of high performance/achievement and driving cross-functional impact with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong ownership mindset with a drive to execute
  • Excellent project management, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to drive multiple projects across cross-functional teams and effectively communicate with senior leadership, including executive-level communications
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to build models and analyze data to drive decision making
  • Bachelor's degree; MBA or analytical master's degree preferred
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience
