Essential Functions/Job Duties

  • Confer with clients and employees by telephone and email to provide information about products or services, take or enter orders, or obtain details of complaints 
  • Review Rx requests 
  • Assist with responding to incoming email requests
  • Respond to customer questions regarding positive tests
  • Log in client accounts any interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments as well as actions taken 
  • Escalate unresolved client complaints to designated lead or manager for further investigation 
  • Generate various reports including Missing OP/HW Label and Duplicates. 
  • Assign and mail Rabies Tags 
  • Assist clients with Microchip Registration issues. 
  • General clerical functions including filing, faxing and mailing records 
  • Other duties or functions as requested 

Education

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience

  • 1+ years in customer service experience
  • 1+ years as an agent at a consumer call center
  • Experience handling companion animal service calls a plus.
  • Solid computer skills preferred.
  • Superb communication skills required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Leverages Relationships

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear
