The Behavioral Health landscape is changing, and the stress and isolation brought on by the pandemic has only increased the prevalence of mental health conditions. With millions of funding dollars invested into the digital behavioral health space this year alone, digital health companies are addressing the mental health crisis in new and innovative ways. Included Health is uniquely positioned to transform behavioral healthcare by increasing access to licensed psychiatrists, therapists, and coaches. Our integrated Behavioral Health ecosystem offers innovative, patient-centric support to members across the wide mental health care spectrum, from low acuity to complex conditions -- integrated with our medical practice for whole person care. BH is a fast-growing business unit that is rapidly adding providers, new features, and bringing on large new payer and employer clients.

We are looking for someone who will directly impact the success of the business line, the direction of the product, and the members and patients who need access to Behavioral Health care.

Why should you join us?

  • Hop on a rocketship: Included Health has recently become the second-biggest digital health company in the US. We’re on a roll and we are still only in the early innings of our mission.
  • Accelerate your career: Forbes’ recently named us a Best Startup Employer, and we’ve been voted a Glassdoor Best Places to work, and a 4x Career-Launching Company by Wealthfront.
  • Roll up your sleeves and partner with experts with all kinds of experience: We hire for intellectual curiosity, humility, and hunger for impact. In this role you’ll get exposure across the company in many strategic projects where you’ll work closely with go-to-market leaders, finance, operations specialists, product managers, doctors, population health experts, designers and data scientists who share a singular goal: make healthcare better.
  • Make healthcare work for millions of people: We’re taking on healthcare head-on. End each day knowing that your work is transforming a $3.6 trillion industry and millions of people’s lives for the better.

About the role:

  • As a Manager on our Behavioral Health (BH) General Management team, you will own a wide range of complex business initiatives that drive Behavioral Health business success and deliver access and value to our customers. In this role, you will take ownership for a subset of the BH business and work cross-functionally with virtually every part of the organization. You will have a close pulse on the evolving needs of the BH market and bring vision and solutions for how we should grow our BH product to deliver on those needs. You will leverage your analytical and problem solving skill set and outside-the-box thinking to deliver insightful data analysis, model out various business scenarios, define and monitor key business metrics, and address operational challenges with a quantitative approach. To be successful in this role, you will be a self-starter, independent thinker, and passionate driver to work harder and reach higher. You will be comfortable navigating ambiguity by using a variety of tools to find answers. You’ll be curious and have an urge to identify not just what is occurring, but also uncover the underlying business drivers to provide crisp business recommendations and decisive action.
  • Our team partners with senior leadership to run critical initiatives that cross-cut our organizations and deliver high impact results. You will work collaboratively with our partners across Go-to-Market, Finance, Analytics, Product, Care and Operations teams to build amazing products that deliver value for our buyers and provide a transformational healthcare experience for our patients. You collaborate and approach your work with humility, empathy, creativity, intellectual horsepower, and an enduring hunger to achieve results. Your passion for transforming healthcare motivates you to work harder and reach harder. You will be part of a small and nimble team that will help to change the way behavioral healthcare is experienced by millions of patients.

What you'll be doing:

  • Monitoring and analyzing the health of the Behavioral Health business through dashboards and other means.
  • Helping ensure all Behavioral Health annual goals and quarterly commitments are met through cross-functional monitoring and leadership.
  • Creating and managing cross-functional project plans.
  • Leading market research and competitive analysis for behavioral health.
  • Identifying key business opportunities and needs through analysis and recommend actionable next steps.
  • Partnering with product and operations to solve key business problems.
  • Partnering with finance, analytics, and go-to-market teams to develop business and growth plans.
  • Support customer deployments and operational expansions.
  • Support product packaging and product pricing.

What makes you a great fit:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; MBA is a plus.
  • Passion for raising the standard of healthcare.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience with at least 3 of your 5+ years of experience in management consulting.
  • Outstanding analytical abilities and instincts.
  • Operate comfortably and effectively in ambiguity. Natural ability to create effective relationships, influence, and collaborate. Strong process orientation and program & project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving and business judgement skills.
  • Proficient in spreadsheet analysis (Excel, Google Sheets), data visualization (Looker, Tableau). Database querying (SQL) is a plus.
  • Product management or startup experience is a plus.
