We post all our jobs in Eastern Standard Time- we’ve got you covered with a variety of shifts. We are currently hiring for the following schedules:

  • 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, M-F w/ wkds (FT) EST
  • 9:30 AM - 7:00 PM, M-F w/ wkds (FT) EST
  • 12:30 PM - 10:00 PM, M-F w/wkds (FT) EST
  • 2:30 PM - 12:00 AM, M-F w/ wkds (FT) EST

Note: Shifts are Monday- Friday with weekends as assigned

Competitive Wage:

Starting wage of $16.00 per hour with shift differential opportunities to earn up to $19.20 per hour.

What You Will Do

  • You’ll spend the majority of your shift on the phone (inbound calls), speaking with customers, listening to their concerns, assisting them with online navigation and providing them with the best solutions. You’ll be a pro at problem solving!

  • Customer care is key- our approach in banking is about finding the right options for the customer by understanding their needs, and the options Discover has for them.

  • Working from home, you will need a quiet workspace so you can focus on our customers. You’ll also need a minimum of 5 MBPS up/download speed from your internet provider.

  • We’ll provide you with all the equipment you need! Monitors, computer, keyboard, mouse, headset, and an amazing new hire training experience. You’ll also have the best coaches to help you deliver the best service!

  • We’ll provide you with procedures and tools to handle our customer’s needs and strengthen their relationship with Discover.

Qualifications You Will Need to Succeed

Recently, they launched a program for the digital modernization of Discover’s network authorization platform, with the goal of building a decoupled cloud-based architecture — ensuring new, more efficient payment capabilities make it to market faster. Despite the constant race of technology, his team doesn’t sacrifice their sanity. “We foster a culture that drives a balance of spending time with loved ones and leveraging that happiness back into work. That drives the energy of an adaptive, innovative fintech culture,” he said.

As part of these efforts, they launched a new mobile app and got to see its impact firsthand. “It’s rare to see reactions to our visuals, but we did extensive user research and roadshows. There is a smile on people’s faces, a connection being made — that is what we are striving for every day.” Up next, the team will be “eliminating cold handoffs” to ensure every customer interaction is a warm experience.
