The Assistant Director Cardiovascular Research Technologies Group manages and oversees operational, logistics and fiscal expenses for CRT Group and educational meetings for MedStar Heart and Vascular Institute, and the fiscal management of the MedStar Cardiovascular Research Network (MCRN).

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Oversees all CRT Group initiatives including CRT Meeting, CRT Virtual and CRTonline and all web-based platforms for CRT

2. Strategically plans for growth of CRT Group including development of new meeting (in-person or virtual) and web platforms

3. Oversees vendor relationships for CRT meetings including submitting request for proposals and negotiate contracts with external partners and ensure that all CRT contracts adhere to the MedStar contracting guidelines

4. Prepares, tracks, maintains revenue and expense budget for CRT Group including CRT conference costs for final reconciliation

5. Meets regularly with Course Director and Director and Director of Industry Development to identify and establish educational goals, learning objectives and plan effective course schedule for all CRT meetings with selected accreditor

6. Meets regularly with the CRT team to ensure that milestones are met Manage up to six (6) CRT Staff Members productivity to implement CRT Group projects.

7. Oversees creation and implementation of marketing / promotional plan for in person and virtual conferences including social media, web, direct mail for audience generation for all CRT Group platforms, CRT Times CRT App)

8. Manages all logistic aspects of the CRT meetings including: pre and onsite vendor management, site selection and hotel contracting, conference food and beverage, meeting set-up, including audiovisual needs (using selected AV vendor), live and taped cases, decorator/staging, on and off-site social events implementation, coordination, and functionality of all conference registrations, responsible for decorator and av services at all meetings

9. Manages all CRT websites including content and functionality (including, but not limited to: CRTonline.org, CardioTUBE.org, CRTmeeting.org, CRTvirtual .org CRT Premium)

10. Oversees all "Call Fors" including web copy, criteria, reviews, and notifications and coordinate poster presentations

11. Oversees up to four (4) MHVI meetings in addition to the annual CRT meeting

12. Oversees the annual MCRN budget with the Director of Cardiovascular Research and the AVP of Clinical Research Operations at the MedStar Health Research Institute Including financial reporting and analysis and reconciliation for MCRN scientific areas including Core Lab, Angio Core lab, Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Pre-clinical Lab, Heart Failure, Imaging, Intensive Care, Cardiac Surgery, and Academic Research Operations.

13. Manages all administrative requests from the Director of Cardiovascular Research with the AVP of Clinical Research Operations at MHRI.

14. Coordinates the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Management including interview process and selection, onboarding of incoming fellows, oversee monthly and weekly didactic requirements are met per the ACGME guidelines, credentialing of graduating fellows.
