We Are Hiring
We are hiring an Associate Vice President of Nursing Technology and Clinical Informatics.
This nurse executive technology leader is responsible for partnering with system level nursing leadership to enable and operationalize nursing tech stack to support strategic objectives. This leader is expected to have a clear understanding of a comprehensive nursing strategy in order to align people, process and technology to create an ecosystem that will support Nursing.
This leader will be fully immersed with the System Nursing leadership team and will integrate AT resources in the evaluation, selection and operationalization of nursing technologies aligned with workflow and quality requirements. This executive level leader translates nursing clinical and business requirements into high-level designs and translatable workflow requirements while aligning with long-term technology architecture goals.
This leader will collaborate with all areas of Strategy and Innovation organization to align efforts with the larger nursing strategy. This leader will participate and assist in the EHR governance and standardization.
This nursing leader will set direction and provide executive oversight to the clinical informatics teams - both the field based group and also the enterprise team focused on specific workstreams at the system level. This leader will oversee the development of programs intended to elevate the collective skill set of the informatics function. This leader will define value delivery goals for the informatics discipline and will work with their leadership team to measure and manage outcomes.
Additionally, this leader will evaluate existing talent and skills of the organization and will make recommendations and take actions to improve skill and talent to align with the strategic needs of Nursing.
What You Will Do
Facilitate delivery of technology solutions that proactively meet the needs of ministries while influencing an overall national technology strategy that is cost effective, create a strategic advantage and leverage or create best practices across the organization.

  • Understand and influence ministry market strategies that enable the proper application of Ascension Technologies standards while working with the product organization to influence new innovative product offerings.
  • Create and improve key performance metrics for each ministry that demonstrates constant value and improvement.
  • Evaluate program performance against expectations and influence changes to programs to improve competitive position, optimize platform performance and capabilities.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction with product line capabilities and service and initiate improvements/corrective actions to ensure solution deliverables and customer expectations are met/exceeded.
  • Collaborate with product strategy and business management functions to develop value propositions for high value transformational opportunities.
  • Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.


What You Will Need
Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Master's degree preferred.


Work Experience:

  • 7 years of experience required.
  • 10 years of experience preferred.
  • 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.


Additional Preferences
Nursing degree is required for this role.
