Create data-based insights. Build and test smart hypotheses. Build new capabilities in a cutting edge RevTech stack. Drive customer acquisition and value.

The Role You’ll Play:

The Associate Salesforce Admin is a multi-faceted process and systems role at CBI. This role sits in the center of the company’s Go-to-Market (GTM) / revenue organization -- collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Finance. In this role, you are responsible for keeping our systems up and running, building and optimizing processes to improve efficiency, and providing first level support and training to our GTM team.

You will be involved in systems planning and administration, user and security management, and testing and validation of Salesforce configuration and development for our GTM organization which includes 150+ team members across Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing.

About the Go-to-Market and RevOps team:

RevOps at CBI is focused on driving strategic revenue impact: we strategize how to go-to-market (vs. ‘supporting sales’), we publish actionable intelligence for the business (vs. refreshing charts), we lead the identification, testing, and rollout of revenue initiatives (vs. supporting the roadmap), and build an innovative and ever-evolving RevTech stack to scale our business (vs. maintaining the mess).

We espouse a product-minded approach towards growth -- we are bold and hypothesis-driven, believe in test & learn and failing fast, always focus the company on our target market, and ‘build the flywheel’ to automate as much growth as possible.

Your Main Tasks:

  • Help build and optimize the processes and systems that generate actionable insights on our business and market.
    • Understand our key business metrics and identify pain points and disconnects in our processes that might cause leakage in our funnel or inefficiencies in our Sales motion.
    • Help demystify our prospect to customer journey - align our processes and tools to give us a clear view of performance across the revenue funnel.
  • Support the strategy and roadmap for revenue processes and systems.
    • Understand the vision and structure for how our GTM systems (Salesforce, Hubspot, Catalyst, etc.) support our Sales motion and ensure tools connect and operate seamlessly.
    • Evaluate new Salesforce releases and applications, participate in plans for their implementation, and remain current with Salesforce administration best practices. Stay up-to-date on the latest in tools, best practices, and workflows with an eye toward continuous improvement and efficiency.
    • Focus on building the minimum viable product; avoid “feature creep.”
    • Support the integrity of our revenue systems ecosystem by managing access and permissions controls, ensuring data integrity, and following protocols for change management.
  • Execute high impact initiatives.
    • Partner with RevOps leadership and other Go-to-Market teams to drive initiatives that impact revenue.
    • Drive robust systems, processes, and analytics to ensure that we learn from any initiative -- treating them as experiments with data-based learning.
    • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Finance team members as a project owner and executor.

What you bring to the table:

  • Certified Salesforce Administrator (required) & Advanced Admin (nice to have)
  • Certified Salesforce Developer (nice to have)
  • 2-4 years demonstrated Salesforce experience - specific experience includes knowledge of SFDC configuration including managing third-party tools
  • Experience configuring and customizing the Salesforce.com application
  • Experience with data migration into SFDC for objects including accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities, and custom objects
  • Working knowledge of APEX, Java/J2EE, XML, SOAP, Rest, WSDL, Ajax is a plus
  • Ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve technical problems, escalate, and track problems appropriately
  • Familiarity with SFDC business workflows (Opportunity stages, approval workflows, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Marketing Automation tools is a plus; Hubspot or Marketo Certification a huge plus
  • Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills
  • Team player who enjoys collaborating; has a growth mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree

You’ll be successful here if:

  • You seek and build expertise, while being innovative: You learn the playbooks that work elsewhere, and build the ones that work for CBI.
  • You’re a true owner: You have an ownership mindset and set an example for owning and learning from wins, failures and bets.
  • You focus on results: You don’t believe in vanity metrics, but do believe in taking swings at big outcomes.
  • You are excited to be part of a collaborative team and culture in a high-growth SaaS company.
  • You're a problem-solver, who likes to both build and optimize, and has an outcomes-focused mentality.
  • You can “draw the owl”

Please be aware that, while remote work is approved, this job must be performed within the United States of America.
