The Boeing Company is seeking Associate Procurement Agents (level 2) to join our Supply Chain Supplier Performance team located in Tukwila, WA or Seal Beach, CA.
The selected individual will communicate supplier in service performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance. Job requires interaction with suppliers and airline customers. Integrates with production procurement team to ensure in service issues are taken into account for contracting strategies and leverage. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities:

  • Communicate supplier in service performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
  • Manage suppliers to the negotiated contractual documents.
  • Conduct risk, issues and opportunities management.
  • Manage supplier readiness for entry into service.
  • Manage repair turnaround time and spares, works with supplier on corrective action plans where needed.
  • Initiate and execute supplier recovery and improvement activities.
  • Integrate with production procurement team to ensure in service issues are taken into account for contracting strategies and leverage.
  • Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals.
  • Contribute to the improvement of existing processes, including the deployment of strategic supplier management and procurement strategies.


The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. " US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain or business related field.


Typical Education/ Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
