Role Description:

 

The Patient Engagement Associate will play a critical role in leveraging analytics and strategic thinking to accelerate the deployment of patient engagement strategies for Oak Street Health.  This is an opportunity to partner across the organization to identify and deliver data-backed solutions to improve patient experience, engagement, and overall retention.  This individual will be the first Associate supporting Patient Engagement efforts, reporting to the Manager of Patient Engagement, and ultimately to the Sr. Director of Patient Engagement.

 

Core Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform data / analytics to inform patient engagement decision-making and initiative development 

  • Contribute and help to drive forward (under the direction of Manager) key patient engagement initiatives

  • Develop and maintain monthly reporting, driving insights and action items to improve performance

  • Collaborate with other team members, as well as field team members to execute initiatives

  • Develop materials and lead discussions with key organizational leaders

  • Other strategic / analytical priorities, as determined by Sr. Director of Patient Engagement

  • Other duties, as assigned

 

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for a motivated professional with:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a quantitative major (e.g., Business, STEM, economics, statistics)

  • Analytical and strategic thinker who is intellectually curious

  • Interest, experience, and/or passion for healthcare and value-based care

  • Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint; experience with Alteryx, SQL or other programming languages a plus

  • Effective and flexible team player with demonstrated success in a fast-paced “start-up” environment  

  • Demonstrated attention to detail and experience leveraging data / analytics to solve problems

  • Proven innovative problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence decision-making at many levels of leadership

  • US work authorization
