Our organization focuses on enabling everyone to listen to all of the paid audio that exists in the world on Spotify, from podcasts to audiobooks and beyond. In the coming years, Spotify will redefine what it means for creators to monetize their work, as well as how listeners discover and gain access to that paid content. This is an extraordinarily exciting and impactful new team for Spotify, and will help craft the platform for years to come. As part of our team, you will partner with program management to support a number of high profile initiatives to operationalize, supervise, lead, and deliver large cross functional projects on tight deadlines. You will also play an integral role in driving organizational operations across planning cycles, budget management, and headcount planning. If you are an outstanding project manager, enjoy fast-paced high energy environments, thrive in collaborative and hardworking teams, and have a track record of successfully building digital businesses, this is the role for you.

  • Drive decision making and accountability across multiple teams and locations
  • Support company and business unit-wide planning cycles across budget, headcount, and strategic planning
  • Work across a variety of different teams and subject areas to establish efficient ways of working, streamline organizational communications, and enable effective methods of information sharing
  • Ensure we are delivering sustainably and continuously improving
  • Mentor others to help build our project and program management capabilities

Who you are

  • You have proven track record in program/project management experience
  • You are passionate about documentation, project management standard methodologies, and are a pro at building effective tracking documents and methodologies
  • You are experienced working in a large cross-functional program in a global scale
  • You have worked with software development and are proficient with agile methodologies and values
  • You are very skilled at oral and written communications
  • You are truly a “do-er”, willing to get hands-on solving any problems needed to help the program move forward
  • You have a flexible attitude to problem solving and can work collaboratively with others to find creative out-of-the-box solutions
  • You have a sense of humor and a generous disposition at work!

Where you'll be

  • We are a distributed workforce enabling our band members to find a work mode that is best for them!
  • Where in the world? For this role, it can be within the Americas region in which we have a work location and is within working hours.
  • Working hours? We operate within the Eastern Standard time zone for collaboration and ask that all be located that time zone.
