As an IT Associate, Graduate Program , you will have the opportunity to work on real-life projects, in emerging technologies, designed to support some of the world's leading companies. Work in the latest digital methodologies including Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, DevOps, BI (w/ Looker), Data Pipelines, Data Science and be part of creating the next generation of Supply Chain/ Logistics solutions. Once you emerge from the program, our goal is to place you in a full-time role within the area of technology which speaks to your strengths, desires, background, and our current business need.

What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of technologies
  • Participating in a full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) utilizing Agile techniques to deliver solutions
  • Working on the administration and support of our IT apps. Gain exposure to modern programming frameworks, languages, and technologies such as Java, Angular, Informatica, Python, Jupyter Notebooks, Looker Reports, Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, Oracle and Elastic Search.
  • Assisting the team in new application roll outs, design and development, data migration, and database upgrades
  • Learning testing methodologies in support of manual and automated testing scenarios
  • Developing a knowledge of the Release Management process utilized at XPO Logistics
  • Working with business partners and technology teams to solve business problems and design solutions. Provide business analysis support and quality assurance
  • Supporting system implementations, upgrades, and continued client support
  • Meeting weekly/ monthly goals and objectives
  • Taking the initiative to learn XPO IT from online resources and observing/ working alongside our talented IT employees


What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related degree
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Must be geographically flexible. Relocation assistance is provided to those who geographically qualify as determined by placements.


It'd be great if you also have:

  • College project(s) or prior internship
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and a true career aspiration to lead others is essential; must be adaptable, strive for excellence, and demonstrate a positive attitude in the face of adversity
  • Strong interpersonal skills a must, coupled with a proven ability to build collaborative relationships to achieve results
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills essential
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a continuous basis without company sponsorship.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to engage with a range of audiencese.g.,internal, external, technical, non-technical
