Job Description

Our IT team operates as a business partner proposing ideas and innovative solutions that enable new organizational capabilities. We collaborate internationally to deliver the services and solutions that help everyone to be more productive and enable innovation.
As a member of our Company's Kinaxis RapidResponse IT sustainment team (Working in Application management services model)- you will be responsible for the 24/7 support of Global user community. Our company's Global Rapid response Planning system instances currently support dozens of countries around the world. You are also responsible for leading business enhancements, assessing demand/ resource capacity and manage key stakeholders across the Globe.
This position leads and supports Kinaxis RapidResponse Supply chain management software. This support areas will cover but not be limited to Demand Management, Supply Planning, Production Planning, IBP and S&OP processes and interfaces with multiple planning tools especially SAP ECC/APO/BI. Automation, Process Innovation, and enhancements will be major focus areas. This position will act as the primary team lead for identified systems and processes with a focus on RapidResponse Planning systems.
The incumbent must have hands on Kinaxis RapidResponse Planning tool setup including integration, authoring and admin experience coupled with Business & technical knowledge in Supply Chain Management planning areas. Areas of expertise should include- Demand Management, S&OP and Supply management including processes specific to Pharmaceutical businesses like Expiry planning, Potency planning, Substitution, Constrained planning, Attribute based planning etc. He/she should also be aware of statistical forecasting models in Demand Planning including key functionalities like but not limited to Causals, Expost forecast, disaggregation etc. He/she must be aware of the Rapid Response data model and architecture including Data Integration Server. He/she should be well aware of configuration options available in Control sets, The incumbent should be an established and acceptable leader to the end user community with deep dive Business Process skills in a highly validated / regulated environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leadership role while handling internal stake holders globally across multiple geographic locations covering NA, EU, Asia- Pac and Latina America locations.
  • Application managed services process governance: work in managed service model and lead team of external resources while ensuring a 24x7 support to Global user community.
  • Demand & Capacity management: Collaborate with various groups of internal stake holders and identify demand and manage capacity of workload -while handling business process enhancements.
  • Mature leadership role while managing expectations of business user community in a highly FDA regulated environment.
  • Live market support for global sites including managing Help Desk tickets, break fixes and minor enhancements.
  • Functions independently and exercises a leadership role to enhance existing business processes and systems.
  • Incidence management & resolution of issues ""manage thru outsourced vendors / AMS Model.
  • People coordination & stake holder management- Vendor resources, end user community.


Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computers Science, Life Sciences.


Required Experience and Skills:

  • Supply chain planning knowledge must be highly focused, possessing in-depth knowledge of the capabilities w/in the assigned area "Kinaxis RapidResponse system" and integration knowledge with additional planning systems (SAP ECC/APO/BI will be highly desirable.
  • A minimum of two full Life Cycle Implementations with emphasis as Subject Matter Expert in Kinaxis Rapidrresponse Planning systems.
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience across the Supply Chain process including experience with the following with one or multiple SCM planning systems.
  • Deep understanding of Supply Chain Integration through middleware with other systems.
  • Experience with Automation and Digital initiatives.
  • Superior communication skills and the ability to interact directly with business users.
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous initiatives and prioritize work.
