Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary communication link between the client and laboratory operations
  • Respond (phone/email) to clients or laboratory personnel to provide quick resolution of issues and questions in order to facilitate the receipt, entry, testing, reporting of testing samples
  • High level of problem-solving skills coupled with knowing when to raise issues as needed if services deviate from expectations
  • High learning agility to quickly learn the operational and informational flow within Diagnostic Testing Services
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, displaying a professional and calm demeanor with an ability to work through challenging customer interactions
  • HIPAA Compliance: Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and good judgement


Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in a client facing/customer service role in a Diagnostic Laboratory Environment, Medical Devices or Pharmaceuticals or related field


Additional Skills/Preferences:

  • Prior experience working in a CAP/CLIA laboratory
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • A result- and goal-oriented attitude, integrity, a strong work ethic and commitment to quality
  • Prior customer service experience in a relevant scientific field, preferably in a Diagnostic Laboratory Environment, Medical Devices or Pharmaceuticals
  • Willing to learn Diagnostic Testing Services laboratory management information systems
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, and adhere to company policies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, adaptable, and continuous improvement mentality
  • Bi-lingual is a plus (Spanish or Mandarin)
