The employee Benefits Associate I position assists employees with benefits enrollment and questions, verifies and processes benefit invoices, administers additional employee benefits and ensures compliance with required government notices.

The employee Benefits Associate I position assists employees with benefits enrollment and questions, verifies and processes benefit invoices, administers additional employee benefits and ensures compliance with required government notices.
How You Add Value

  • Assist PEO with various employee benefits programs, such as group health, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance and 401(k).
  • Administer additional employee benefits, such as fertility reimbursement, additional life insurance, mental health, and wellness benefits.
  • Conduct benefits orientations and explain benefits self-enrollment system.
  • Audit benefit deductions within system for accuracy.
  • Assist employees with health, dental, life and other related benefit claims.
  • Process additional benefit invoices for Life Insurance, Long Term Care and others as needed.
  • Resolve administrative problems with the carrier representatives.
  • Assist AVP, Payroll and Benefits in obtaining statistics and information in renewal process of any health, life and retirement plans that benefit the company.
  • Prepare and set up meetings designed to help employees obtain information and understand company benefits and other related incentive programs.
  • Ensure distribution of required employee notices.
  • Leave of Absence backup.
  • Assist with Annual Benefits Enrollment.
  • Completion of ACA Reporting.
  • Assist AVP, Payroll and Benefits in completing benefits reporting requirements.
  • Assist Payroll team as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


What You Bring To The Role
Required:

  • High school diploma or GED and two years of experience in employee benefits administration.
  • Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
