The role:

  • Provide excellent customer service and support of resident assistive technology needs.
  • Collaborative with clinical and residential team members to identify assistive technology devices that support residents' rehabilitation programs and access to their environment.
  • Research new technology that will advance residents' clinical care.
  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Support will be provided either in person or over the phone.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of hardware and software.
  • Carry out routine network maintenance tasks.
  • Train computer users.
  • This position is on-site at QLI in Omaha, NE.


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

1. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (required).

2. Degree in Information Technology, Assistive Technology Certificate, or related field (preferred).

3. Adept in computer systems, mobile devices, assistive technology and other technology products, and have the ability to solve problems related to IT processes.

4. Possess excellent problem-solving skills, be self-motivated, and utilize exceptional communication skills.

5. Employ excellent organizational and time-management skills.
