Are you ready to go beyond?

As PW emerges from the pandemic, PW engineering will be focusing on productivity measures across the enterprise to improve productivity and the employee experience. Aftermarket and Sustainment Engineering (ASE) is a growing organization supporting PW's advanced technology products such as the F135 and the Geared Turbofan (GTF) programs and is looking for an individual to manage, coordinate and focus our various military and commercial engine productivity initiatives. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Champion all current productivity initiatives in ASE, both military and commercial programs
  • Apply RTX Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) tools to value stream and identify opportunities for '22 and beyond; assemble required/desired resources to support new initiatives and manage those resources in a results driven environment.
  • Provide upward communication to ASE leadership as appropriate and acquire funding necessary for future projects.
  • Provide leadership & support to employees who work initiatives outside core responsibilities with employee satisfaction and employee survey scores as driving factors.
  • Manage teams/initiatives such as FTY (First Time Yield), Process Analysis (formerly Quality Control Process Charting - QCPC), Aftermarket Operations cost reduction plus yield improvement, and military engines Sustainment efforts to deliver SMART (Smart, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Timebound) objectives that impact ASE, PW, customers, and our employees in a measurable way.



Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.



  • Requires expert knowledge of multiple work areas typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Expert knowledge of market with the ability to identify best practices and how to best utilize within RTX.
