The Solution Architect in the Provider and Claims Domain will be responsible for designing and supporting information systems that manage all aspects of Provider and Provider contracting needs. This includes Provider demographics, contract structures, directories, pricing, managed care arrangements, fulfillment materials, portals, and other provider related activity within the healthcare landscape.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business partners, subject matter experts, legal and compliance, and industry experts to gather requirements to ensure that systems meet business and regulatory needs
  • Prepare models, diagrams, presentations, schemas, and other artifacts to communicate and document system design
  • Stays informed of changes within the healthcare regulatory environment and proactively promote changes within systems to meet requirements
  • Handle interacting with all business and technical consumers of Provider domain data and ensure that changes within the domain are communicated with impacted consumers
  • Communicate designs to development teams and lead the delivery process
  • Provide technical advisement to senior leadership teams
  • Mentor and advise junior members of the architecture and analysis teams

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering and design architecture
  • 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in the provider space
  • 5+ years of experience working on enterprise level engineering projects
  • Experience developing cloud-based applications
  • Experience in REST API development
  • Experience in event driven architecture
  • Experience data modeling relational and object-based data structures
  • Experience providing technical direction to executive leadership
  • Advanced understanding of systems analysis techniques and processes

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $97,300 to $176,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900.
