Job Description We are looking for an outstanding Production Engineer for our Payments Technology platforms. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities across multiple technologies to support our Premier Clients. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ownership of Incident management and production stability reviews for the Premier clients
• Lead the Root Cause Analysis efforts to identify the underlying problems and devise strategic solutions
• Experience in presenting Root Cause Analysis and service level metrics to the senior stake holders
• Prioritize workload within the team members and deliver automation, self-service capability and telemetry capabilities
• Partner with product owners in measuring and communicating application and platform adherence to the Service Level objectives
• Apply SRE mindset to understanding specific use cases and build solutions that reduces toil and can be easily supported.
• Instrument applications for pro-active monitoring and self-healing in different monitoring tools (Apica, AppDynamics, Splunk, etc)
• Develop custom dashboard configuration in Splunk, AppDynamics, and Grafana

Qualifications-

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent work experience
• 12+ years working experience in Production Engineering, preferably in the Banking domain
• Expertise in application development and support environment with more than one technology and multiple design techniques
• Experience in implementing Java, .NET, Web (Apache, IIS), and database technologies are essential
• Experience in DevOps and SRE tools/processes
• Extensive experience with observability strategy specifically in defining and delivering SLA's for critical services
• Proficiency and hands-on experience with Java and/or Python and associated frameworks.
• Experience in building automation using REST APIs in Java/Python is a plus.
• Experience in handling critical application outages in an large scale operations & driving root cause analysis and remediation
• Proven ability to work in a demanding, fast paced environment and handle multiple, competing priorities at one time
• Good to have - knowledge of Cloud Engineering. Understanding of private cloud principles and exposure to public cloud offerings such as AWS, Azure, or similar technology is preferred
• Automation and Efficiency: Understand manual process currently carried out and implement scripts or leverage tools/technologies to automate and create efficiency
