This is an Application Support Analyst position within the Enterprise Application Support organization. The position will encompass the day to day support of applications primarily focusing on AWS, Java and SAP. This is a global position requiring the ability to work within IT and Customer Support organizations throughout the world under general direction from an Application Support Manager.

As the Application Support Analyst, you will be joining a global team with multiple applications to support. Our engineering culture will empower you to make effective decisions, work collaboratively, and take accountability for engineering projects at the core of the company.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain operational readiness of Enterprise Applications including SAP Cloud, AWS hosted applications
• The position requires a combination of strong troubleshooting, technical and communication skills and includes a mix of on call and operational tasks and involves small to medium level software development work
• Automate manual enterprise operations tasks and optimize business process to reduce workloads & create proficiencies
• Provide Level 2 Incident Management support for Order management and related applications with a goal of meeting business service levels
• Take ownership of critical issues, enlist proper representation from other IT support teams and drive towards resolution
• Support Autodesk enterprise growth and ensure stability through maintenance activities on Enterprise Applications
• Design, develop, re-factor, optimize, and enhance web application software utilizing Java and other open source technologies
• Work with open source tools, create API, rich dashboards and implement proactive monitoring
• Serve as the liaison between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the development teams

Minimum Qualifications

• Preferably 4-10 years hands-on experience in SAP
• Overall seeking 2-5 years hands on experience with AWS
• Must be able to write scripts and coding languages like Java/Python, ideally 2-5 years experience
• Strong background in Business Intelligence reporting software, data analysis, data security, report and query performance tuning.
• Background in Financial departments and systems, especially SAP and preferably including Hana, ABAP, Fiori, and monitoring of the same
• Technical abilities include data transfer/ETL, data modeling (transactional, operational, and decision support/business intelligence systems), master data management, data distribution & replication approaches, high availability, SOA, BI/data standards
• Familiarity with working on web applications and microservices
• MySQL/NO-SQL/ General database experience
• Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems: Ability to think abstractly
• Excellent ability to manage urgent requests from customers
• Problem solving tasks independently in a global environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn new technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technical related Computer Science
• 3+ years managing escalation from the business
