About The Job

Cigna is seeking an Application Development Advisor to join the Contact Center Service Operations Support team, primarily focused Upstream Works Finesse/Omni Channel Application support. They will act as a liaison with the L1 and L3 teams for complex major systems and their subsystems utilizing a thorough understanding of available technology, tools and existing designs. Additionally they will be responsible for supporting various monitoring tools, both creating new capabilities and enhancing existing ones in attempt to proactively identify issues. The resource will provide an on call support for critical issues that may occur outside of regular business hours. Resource may also be tasked with creating automations and/or scripting to facilitate monitoring and alerting.

Responsibilities:
• Monitors and reviews incidents reported by business teams.
• Facilitates bridge calls in the event of critical issues.
• May participate in the application team's meetings to coordinate work efforts and get information on upcoming updates or patches that may impact ongoing support.
• Maintains process and troubleshooting documentation.
• May conduct application checkout and testing following releases and/or issue resolution
• May be assigned to special projects that drive continuous improvement of services and production support processes.
• Bring main application up to enterprise monitoring and alerting standards utilizing both internal and industry standard tools (e.g. Splunk, Aternity, Dynatrace).
• Use, design, and develop automated processes/scripts to with multiple tools to advance application health tracking within the environment
• Work with stakeholders across various development, operations and quality teams
• Available on call 24x7 support

Skills & Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of and best practices in the administration and use of monitoring tools (Splunk, TeamQuest, Aternity, Dynatrace)
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's preferred
• Excellent analytic troubleshooting skills and data driven testing techniques
• Self-starter that takes initiative to solve problems and learn quickly to fill knowledge gaps

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $88,100 - $146,800, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
